I know you guys say you love Obamacare and hate big corporations, but the health care sector corporations thank you. Really, they do.
It’s hard to lose money when you have captive customers; no need to innovate around better products, you can just raise the premiums 😀
In fact when you’ve saturated the market since 100% of people are now your customers, the only thing left is to merge or acquire other health care companies creating, you guessed it, too big to fail monopolies.
Try to remember this graph the next time you all say you hate big corporations and that you want to use the government to shrink them — you’ve put the cart before the horse …
