You have to keep in mind, this was always the plan. Nationalization of health care can’t happen overnight.
First the government promises to subsidize for-profit private ownership of service providers. Then when the for-profit private ownership of service providers fails to be sufficiently subsidized to generate a profit and the business exits the service market, the government will ride in on its white horse to save the health care market by declaring a failure of capitalism and providing full nationalization of the health insurance market.
If you’re a socialist democrat, this is great news for you.

You say that not eating pork is an Islamic practice; but you are wrong; it is not an Islamic practice.
It’s true that people who are predisposed by their environment to not eat pork will read the not eating of pork into Islam, but that is what is read into Islam, not Islam itself.
In fact, there are people of other religions, such as Jews, that don’t eat pork either. So how is it valid to say the not eating of pork is an Islamic practice?
You see, Islam is everything and Islam is nothing .. It is a blank canvas .. A non existing painting waiting to be drawn .. It is whatever you believe it to be ..
So the argument goes …
