If you’ve been paying attention to the California gubernatorial race, which you most likely haven’t been, you’ll notice that, with the exception of the crypto-communist, Delaine Eastin, The California Environmental Quality Act is recognized by Democratic gubernatorial candidates (Newsom, Villaraigosa, and Chiang) as being a hindrance to increasing the supply of affordable housing.
It’s a supply side problem.
