Now we know how Obamacare dies.
Obamacare was originally found unconstitutional under the commerce clause, but John Roberts saved it by redefining the penalty as a tax, which Congress has a constitutional right to levy.
With the individual mandate penalty (tax) now gone, the government can no longer claim Obamacare to be constitutional as there is no longer a tax being levied.
Look at the bright side. This doesn’t touch Medicaid expansion, which is also in serious need of reform. It merely saves the individual market.
