As an addendum, it’s worth remembering how the Michael Flynn saga began. The DIA under Flynn was the sole US intelligence agency that opposed Obama’s covert effort to fund, arm, and train Syrian “moderate” rebels. That is why he was targeted, and that is how this chapter of the story began.

So why so suddenly? Simple really. It’s possible that Trump’s litigation effort may fail, and Biden may become the next president.

Christopher C. Miller, Trump’s newly appointed Secretary of Defense, has directed special operations forces to report directly to him rather than to the current “permanent government” bureaucratic channels.

Ezra Cohen-Watnick, Trump’s newly appointed Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and former aide to Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Micheal Flynn, who was famously fired by Obama and investigated ad nauseam for an unsubstantiated Logan Act violation, which incidentally the Biden transition team itself is now violating, but I digress, invokes JFK on special operations forces.

The 9/11 commission report recommended that CIA activities be turned over to the defense department because the CIA “relied on operatives without the requisite military training.”

That’s putting it mildly.

JFK, at odds with the CIA, wanted special operations forces with transparency and civilian oversight.

JFK had a tenuous relationship with the CIA, and subsequently was assassinated under mysterious circumstances.

Australian Special Forces shoot & kill an unarmed Afghan farmer, from March 2020. The silver lining is these were Australians, not Americans.

It’s time to leave. Elections have consequences, so it’s now or never.
