Civilians killed and injured in Afghanistan under Obama, Trump and Biden for year through second quarter of each year, covering the period between January 1st and June 30th.
UNAMA published the year to second quarter numbers, which as expected, show an accelerating increase in violence after the May withdrawal deadline, which Biden ignored for which Taliban promised a reaction.
These figures only show the early part of the Taliban offensive, as most of the impact came in July and will reflect in the year to third quarter numbers.
Biden’s definitely going to take the win from Obama on this one.
