More prisoners detained in Khost detention centers by CIA-backed KPF, hardened Taliban fighters, as Ghani likes to call them, whom he fears releasing because they keep him up at night. Scary.

Sometimes in life, it is necessary to thoroughly humiliate someone to get them to talk peace. I wish it weren’t so.

When you decided to cling onto the War on…

When you decided to cling onto the War on Terror aspects of the irredeemably corrupt Bush-era National Security State, you accepted that you never left medieval times, so this is the inevitable outcome of that which could have been avoided through reason, empathy, and understanding of those of your fellow countrymen you called terrorists, whose dead bodies you paraded around on the hoods of your Humvees, which I spared you from seeing. Too bad, I know.

Taliban captured Bamyan, the twenty-ninth provincial capital to fall

It was a non-eventful transfer of power. Bamyan is part of Hazarajan, and as was the case with Daykundi, was avoided until now due to fears of persecution and historical destruction. The Taliban in this area are Hazaras themselves, so who knows.

Bamyan was the home of the Buddhas of Bamiyan until 2001 when the Taliban blew them up the last time they came to power. May the Taliban resist the urge to blow up whatever rubble remained from their last act of intelligence.

Taliban captured Matun, Khost, the twenty-eighth provincial capital to…

Taliban captured Matun, Khost, the twenty-eighth provincial capital to fall.

It was a memorable transfer of power due to the large number of prisoners detained by the CIA-backed KPF paramilitary force in their torture dungeons being released, but also because the KPF was soundly defeated in the battle over the liberation of Gardez, Paktia.

Unfortunately some remaining members of the KPF got away, though I’m sure the Taliban will find them in due time.

May this be the end of one of the ugliest chapters of the War on Terror saga and may the Taliban not cheapen this victory by resisting the urge to go down their own reign of terror.
