There is little difference in COVID hospitalizations per capita between states with schools with more in-person instruction and states with schools with less in-person instruction.
That said, I hope they not only continue to keep schools closed, but light them on fire. If they want to keep teachers on payroll to continue to make them feel special, I’m fine with that trade-off.
