Atmospheric CO2 hasn’t diverged from prior year despite unprecedented worldwide unemployment, decline in industrial activity, shutdowns in transportation, and so forth. It’s actually slightly increased.
Unless you believe this year the earth decided to suddenly emit more CO2 to make up for the decline in human CO2 emissions, it’s fair to say that humans don’t emit enough CO2 to make a difference.
If this level of economic shutdown doesn’t drop CO2 emissions, then even total economic genocide will not, given how tiny the human component of total CO2 emissions appears to be.
I’m now leaning towards climate change is a natural phenomenon.
Airlines traffic is way down. That should show up somewhere. As are vehicle miles traveled, and everything else.
How dare I, I know.
