By restoring hope to those who had been forgotten, he upset the delicate balance that the elites had worked so hard to maintain. You’re doing fine, living comfortably within the system that benefits you, so you don’t understand why empowering those who’ve been left behind is so threatening to the elites. But to those in power, Trump’s sin wasn’t just his defiance; it was the fact that he dared to give hope to those who were meant to remain powerless. And for that, they are determined to destroy him.
