The Taliban group that killed 20+ commandos in Dawlatabad, Faryab (including Col. Sohrab Azim) went north to capture Andkhoy, Faryab and was subsequently confronted by an ANSF / Junbish force resulting in fierce fighting over Andkhoy. Another Taliban group is believed to be coming up on the ANSF / Junbish force from behind.
